"this was our second lenghty stay at the Majoren. August 2023 was the first. As was the case last August, we again enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk away. "Super cool Hotel, its an old prison. very clean, very good breakfast, super confy beds. the doors are extreemly small since its the original doors for the prison cells. The staits in the middel of the hotel is low so you can hit your head. Rooms have very high celings. very comfy, cool history, great location."

"This hotel is across the street from an ICA grocery store. Although I did not use it my room had a stove. The room also has a refrigerator, sink, dishes and cutlery. Nice break on my trip from restaurant food. There are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance but I tried He Longs asian food and pizza at Restaurang Viktoria; both were tasty. "Hotellet var tomt när jag kom (vid ca 17:30). Fick checka in själv (mitt nyckelkort låg framme, plus en karta där jag kunde se var rummen låg.) Lite svårt att hitta rummet och lite ödslig känsla. Inga människor syntes till alls. Men rummet var finare än väntat och hade utsikt över kanalen och badrummet var stort.
