"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. I will definitely come back to this hotel when in the region."

The pillow was very small and lumpy, and I was woken a number of times in the night; first at 1am by the person in the room above banging around, and again at 3am by someone in the corridor outside my room talking on the telephone. Staff are very friendly and it's close to some reasonable restaurants. I would stay here again for one night when travelling in France."

"Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Suggestions for dinner were perfect. Breakfast, 9.5 euros, was outstanding. A large buffet of fresh choices. Excellent coffee. The hotel is an easy walk to the Château, the river, shops, and dining. Nearby local restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back. Highly recommended. "
