The lounge and bar and new Orangery are welcoming spaces. The restaurant has also had a similar makeover, the staff were attentive and friendly. Our mains coukd have done with being hotter when they arrived, but that was our only criticism."

"Useful stopover very close to the tunnel. Free parking, clean and rooms at a reasonable rate. Don't expect a character property. There is a restaurant but it looked pretty charmless so we walked for 15 minutes into Cite Europe, where there's a huge choice of food and drink outlets."
