The key to the room was on a board by the phone and I had been told where the room was. The entry for the hotel in the website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. "A fabulous, family-run boutique hotel in an amazing location in the centre of old town Baden-Baden. The rooms are nice and the breakfast room is stellar with lovely decor and an excellent breakfast including homemade pots of chia with almond milk and platters of tropical fruit. Plus a barista with made-to-order coffee drinks. I wish I had stayed longer and will definitely come back to this hotel and to Baden-Baden"

"The hotel was clean and conveniently located to the city center. The staff was friendly and there was a good basic breakfast. The room was too warm and it was difficult to turn down the heat. There was no reception after 17:00. There was no evening meal service, but the city center with several good restaurants was only 5 minutes walk."

"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...
