"The hotel is on the edge of an industrial area and is next door to a service station. Has an outdoor eating area but it overlooks a building site. Some parking at the front of the hotel but told that it’s not owned by the Moxy so had to use the underground car park (CHF12 per night)."

"Good budget hotel for price point for a few days. Great location. We were 3 people and we fit. Good beds, always very hot water, and clean. Parking lot is underground and has low head space and tight curve to get into. We had a small car and it was difficult. Something to consider with your vehicle type. I would recommend to the property owners to perhaps change the shower heads because the jet is so strong, good chance the shower curtain blows out of shower and the floor gets all wet. "

"The hotel was good overall. The walk up the hill from the train station was challenging with luggage. When we arrived, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to check us in. The sign at the desk advised we could call, however as we only had a data plan, we couldn’t. I walked the stairs and eventually found someone who could call the number. The small lift was helpful, and our room was big enough for a family of four. The beds were comfy, and the shower was good, though the room felt a bit dark....

"The hotel and staff were great however when we stayed it was exstremly warm 31 deg C. The rooms do not have air con and the only thing we could do was open the window whichthen meant our room would settle at 31 deg C. As it was cooler on the night we left the window open but we got a lot of noise from the train station. All in all yes we would stay there again as the staff were great and hotel spotless."

"We stayed in the week of the transition, owners taking over the management after a leasing of the property. So, we experienced some of the service issues that one can naturally expect when a new management is arriving. Nevertheless the staff was excellent and predisposed to overcome all those difficulties. "We were able to check in early, which was a big plus. Plenty of parking was available. Food at the restaurant was good. Communication was a bit of a challenge, since we spoke English and the staff mostly spoke French but there was a man at the bar/restaurant who spoke English. The elevator is a bit small and the winding road to drive to the hotel was a challenge but the place is beautiful up in the mountains."

"What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"
