"This was a lovely hotel in Kandersteg. This is located beside the gondola station and the walking path for the hike to lake. There was a nice restaurant at the hotel that we had a great dinner at and the breakfast was very enjoyable. My family really enjoyed staying here and we would come back again!"

"We were able to check in early, which was a big plus. Plenty of parking was available. Food at the restaurant was good. Communication was a bit of a challenge, since we spoke English and the staff mostly spoke French but there was a man at the bar/restaurant who spoke English. The elevator is a bit small and the winding road to drive to the hotel was a challenge but the place is beautiful up in the mountains."

"We stayed in the week of the transition, owners taking over the management after a leasing of the property. So, we experienced some of the service issues that one can naturally expect when a new management is arriving. Nevertheless the staff was excellent and predisposed to overcome all those difficulties. What I liked is that it was very quiet outside our room, so having the windows open on a hot night wasn't a problem.
