"In the Theoxenia Hotel, 1960 is alive and well and wants you back. It is a stunning (or bizarre) display of mid-century aesthetic. The rooms in the newer hall have been revitalized and overhauled. They are fine if not luxurious. Hot water is fine, and the breakfast buffet quite good. It has a nice location near the lagoons. All in all, good or very good. Go for the architecture. "

The furnishings are practical with surprisingly luxurious linens and towels. The breakfast was filling but somewhat uninspiring. For lunch and dinner, you can walk to the town center in about 10 minutes or drive in 3....
