"Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night farm stay. The three bedroom farm house was very clean & well maintained. The kitchen overlooked the mountains and farm. There was a fireplace with cut wood ready for us to use. It was put to good use every night while enjoying a glass of wine! Waking each morning to the sounds of the farm animals & birds and enjoying the awesome colours of the sunrise was a magical experience. We were supplied with food for the animals. "Quirky converted beach shack in sleepy American River. Some beautiful scenery and wildlife along the river. This property presents affordable accommodation in peak season and good base to explore around east and central KI. More suited for 4 as sofa bed requires updating. Unfortunately had a blocked shower drain during our stay otherwise stay at property was comfortable. It was disappointing that the oyster farm shop previously just up the road is now permanently closed. "
