"Very pleasant staff, if anything needed it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices. We ate in on an evening ,but menu was limited, a choice of salad dishes would have been nice instead of chips with nearly everything. Overall a pleasant stay."

"I stayed 3 nights with my parents while visiting Cragside and other parts of Northumberland and the Queen's Head was a good base. The rooms were clean and tidy and had a good selection of teas and coffees. They weren't cleaned during our stay but that wasn't an issue for such a short stay - extra supplies including towels were available as needed. There was off-road parking behind, and the one meal we had in the restaurant was enjoyed by all. Staff were all friendly, and the breakfast choices...
