"We stayed in Holbrook at the La Quinta out of convenience after visiting the Petrified Forest. The hotel itself is nice, clean and the staff are friendly. There are limited options for dinner. There is a great laundromat open late (there is guest laundry at the hotel but its more expensive and 1 load at a time) and a few fast food options just up the street. The only complaint we had about our room was that it smelled musty which is a shame because its modern, nicely decorated and looks clean....

"My room was large and comfortable. The bed was great. Breakfast was superior. In my room: the sofa was frayed, the heat/AC blows up under the curtains and not directly into the room. Worst: the toilet measured 15” from floor to top of seat. I am a tall woman who 6 months ago had a hip replacement surgery and have had total knee replacement. I do not require an accessible room. But the toilet required me to squat beyond my physical ability. These toilets shd be replaced with taller ones. "
