"Although the property appears a little "rustic" on the outside, the rooms are excellent with new bathrooms and VERY clean throughout. The manager was outstanding. My partner has RA, so walking up stairs is a problem. Initially we had a second floor room but when a first floor room was available the next morning she immediately moved us to the first floor. "

"The Elk Refuge Inn was warm, inviting, and very comfortable. It is conveniently located near downtown Jackson Hole. Most importantly for us, however, was the proximity to the Elk Refuge. Our balcony looked out over the preserve, and we were able to watch the elk and coyotes roam the preserve. It was absolutely amazing!"

"Great location. Easy access to to Grand Targhee and the town of Driggs. The property is unique in that it is a house with common areas and then individual rooms. The only downside to the property is a lof of delapidated cars, RVs, misc junk laying around. We would stay here again. "

"Bed was big, clean and comfortable and the tv was huge and brand new. The property was easy to get to right off the main road. And the staff were attentive and provided great hospitality. We disliked the other guests parking like idiots in the snow, too far from other vehicles but too close to fit our car in between. The bathroom was quite small and we could hear the neighbors above us. "
