"We had such a fantastic day at the Surestay. Ms. Joy at the front desk lives up to her name. She made sure we were comfortable and, although I hadn’t reserved an accessible room, she made sure that I had one that was safe for me. My husband and I came for one night, prior to surgery and were very pleased with the hotel. We easily walked over to Fairfax and had dinner at Canter‘s deli. "It's closest to the Hollywood bowl was the main reason we chose it in the first place. It's only about an 8 to 10 minute walk. We are quite surprised at how nice the hotel was and how great and friendly the staff was. If I was going to stay in this area again I would definitely stay here."

"Although outside the hotel there was lots of rubbish on the street, the hotel itself was really clean. The staff did an amazing job of keeping unwanted ‘visitors’ from entering the property and disturbing guests. We felt really safe and well cared for. The rooms were lovely - very spacious and clean! Highlights were: breakfast, the pool (our kids LOVED the pool), walking distance to lots of food options and Hollywood Blvd, and the friendly staff. "

"Not a hotel. Its a hostel with some private rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was very tricky and egress to door was unsafe at night due to having to climb a blind ramp/driveway. Bed was uncomfortable but bathroom was fully functional "
