"- I paid for the room ahead of time. The receptionists were constantly getting confused about this, refusing to let me into the room as they claimed I hadn't paid, before backtracking and realising I had, and then forgetting all over again the following day. - The cleaners were extremely loud in the morning, slamming doors in the corridor from 6am. - There was an ALIVE BEETLE in the bed. "Hotel Faro was a very good experience for us. Located close to the lake it was in a good setting. The hotel is closely & well managed by the owners, a couple, which he woman is always on site. They also own and manage the commercial businesses; restaurant, bar, and shop, on the first floor. Most pleasant and friendly. A very good breakfast came with the room. We would certainly stay there again."
