"This was a quick stay while pasding through. I lived in JC years ago so I know the town well and this is probably the best area to stay. Its close to the highway, walmart, dollar tree and several restaurants (sit down and fast food). Everything was clean, breakfast was good. I would stay again."

I know it's not anything you can do about the HVAC System, but it was so loud we had to turn up the television in order to hear it!
