"This place is a no frills budget hotel and I knew that when I booked it so I can’t really complain. But a few little things could have been done better. When we arrived there was no one to check us in. The machine didn’t recognise our reservation… we were in a bit of a panic and nearly had to call Expedia… however thankfully a lady arrived and gave us our key card! The pillows were so cheap as were the amenities in the room. But like I say… I wasn’t expecting anything else and I hadn’t paid for...

"Super clean. Super quiet. Safe and very confortable. Delicous organic breakfast with local products. The owner is very welcoming and will tell you everything you need to know about the products he serves for breakfast and about the region. 10 minutes away from Macon Downtown. 10 minutes away from the Maconnais grand cru. Very affordable!!!!!!!!!"

"The receptionist was very rude, the room was clean but in poor condition, and the walls were so thin you could hear the conversation next door perfectly. The hotel is slightly outside of the city center but still within walkable distance. For the price we paid would have expected something much better - would not recommend."

"We have stayed here before and the hotel has lookled a little "tired". We had a a refurbished room and it was small but good. Sound proofing from the nearby TGV railway line is excellent so we were surprised that we could here a loud TV until 1am. Main disappointment was the sun loungers around the small pool - only 4 and 2 were broken. More loungers are promised for 2014. We will stay there again - excellent breakfast for the price."

Good atmosphere has a bar and a dinning room where they served a very good menu. Far better than in much higher ranking hotels. Parking was easy and we will stay again. "Basic, but value for money. No lift, so a bit of a climb to second floor rooms. Rooms small, with minimum furnishings, but clean. Beds comfortable, ensuite showers clean and efficient. Two night stay and one room was not cleaned. Explanation given was that they did not have a duplicate key.... Curtains in one room inadequate. Rooms to back, so no noise from busy road outside. TV.
