Other areas are more modernised. Quiet, my room looked to the street, but no noise. I had a great night sleep. When I need to spend a night in Santander, no doubt, I will book it again."

I was a bit cold during the night and asked for a 2nd light blanket for the second night which I was given. A good area for drying your clothes and also nice seating areas to chat in. Staff were great and very helpful. The only enhancements that for me would be nice is free tea and coffee facilities during the day (as with other hostels), maybe a light continental breakfast...
