"I liked the couple that run this hotel at night. They were very helpful despite the fact I speak no French. Entry into the parking garage could be an issue and the gate has to be opened by the gentleman. They close at 8PM, so don't be late and there is a code to get in the front door to walk around town. "We stayed 3 nights here and used Cucuron as a base to explore other places in the region. The hotel was very nice. Of course it is in an old building but it is renovated and even the bathroom was big. We stayed in a room on the second floor with a small balcony overlooking Place de l'Etang. "The hotel was fine, but the owner was less than friendly - I never write reviews, but his lack of friendly service was just too much. There are a lot of steps to go up and he would not help with my bag. Also, if I asked to buy a glass of wine he acted like he was doing me a favor. I was so mad at him that I did not buy dinner in their restaurant even though it has good reviews. I was in France for a month and I never received such rude, unfriendly service."
