"I have just come back from a stay at hotel baitone which overall I was not impressed with at all. The room itself was good and very clean as was the restaurant but the location of the hotel was not what it was described on the website. It wasn’t in Malcesine it was 7 kilometres outside of the town which we had to get a taxi to or walk which was one hour and 17 mins. Very disappointedin the hotel.com website which I will never use again "

"A good apartment in Carisolo, within walking distance to the town of Pinzolo and some 15min drive to Madonna di Campiglio/Groste skiing resort. The studio room was of sufficient size consisting of a double bed, a TV, a square dining table (for 2), a small kitchen and a bathroom. Good heating in winter, the room was very warm. "The hotel was not in Riva del Garda as stated on Hotels.com. It is actually 9 miles out of Riva, up a very steep, narrow and windy road which we were nearly run off of!! There is nothing around the hotel at all to do, so you would need transport. The hotel owners spoke no English, the TV in the room didn't work and the pool was covered over even though the description on Hotels.com states that the pool is open seasonally, I think early August is peak season and expected the pool to be usable.
