Eventually one (extremely surly) staff member with poor attitude opened the door and dismissively pointed to envelopes containing the room keys before disappearing in a cloud of disinterest without providing the front door key code which the other...

"We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. A very special place, very special people, and surely one of the one of the loveliest hotels in the area."

"Good position for overnight stop close to mainn road, breakfast was fine, room was comfortable however bathroom was very small and shower was cramped."

"I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter. We originally booked it for one night only, but due to changing family circumstances she had to add another night. She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "Zak was a brilliant host, friendly, attentive and ready to quick to any ofrequest. The chateau is fabulous, with loads of very big rooms to spread out in and all the facilities you coukd want. The plunge pool is a bonus on a hot day! "
