"This was quite frankly the worst hotel stay we have had. Not because the room was poor, but because we never saw the owner. We were given a code and let ouselves in. We heard the odd sound which indicated we were not alone - quite spooky really. The owner responded to our call but merely to give instructions - nothing more. "Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. The room was spacious clean with very comfy beds. Very quiet as it was facing the interior court. Some parts were a bit outdated but I guess still functional (we struggled a bit closing down the window) and some bits were missing just thick courtians but nothing to frost the windows without having it completely dark. "Basic hotel in a town where hotels are expensive so reasonably happy with value for money. Ideal for train station and citadel only a 15 min walk away. I did not have breakfast or need parking. The staff are friendly enough though with limited English, and Housekeeping was very thorough. The wifi worked fine after an early glich that reception soon fixed. A kettle in the room would have made the stay even better but quite happy with choice."
