"Room was good (we ordered a private twin, but got a 4-bed to ourselves, so bonus). Cooking facilities quite limited. The laundry was broken but staff were helpful in finding a local laundrette."

Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night even though the surrounding area was really good for nightlife. "Wombat's is about as good as a hostel can get. I met some great people that i went to the grand prix with in my room. Fairly clean and our room had its own bathroom. The only negative was that the room was pretty hot at night but what can you expect when it's 95 degrees F every day. Overall it was a great experience."

"Love the location and as a semi local I can vouch for it. The rate is fair for a basic type accommodation. As I’ve stayed with them several times in the past I’ll repeat my suggestion: put some basic liquid soap in the shower that you can buy in bulk."

The self check in and access to rooms was cool and easy, only comment is that it becames a bit clunky and slow to use when going through multiple doors and when your phone is trying to connect to the WiFi. "The hostel has switched to fully code-based entry. This was awesome since I arrived when there was no staff onsite and could easily enter the building, the hostel and my room without interacting with anyone. The hostel is very conveniently located, meters away from the Airport Express bus stop. Facilities are clean. My first impression was that there were not enough washrooms or showers, but I didn’t encounter anyone else in the washroom or shower area during my stay, so it seems fine. All in...
