"This was not a planned stay… my husband had had surgery and this was his 2 week check up… he became ill on the way there and even the window wipers were bothering him and with rain continuing in the forecast…the 70 mile trip home was not going to happen… the hotel staff was superb!!! "We got there in the middle of snowing. The house was frigid. The driveway and walk were not shoveled. It would have been hard to do that since you didn't know when we were coming, but you could have had the heat turned up. Also having directions on how to turn the heat up would have helped. "
