"Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way. "

"Fantastic hotel, quiet, had a room overlooking the loch. Lovely walks in the area. Hosts were amazing, Irene and Scott plus others. Food was brilliant. The apartment is a little dated, however very comfortable and I would recommend as it’s in the centre of Largs beside lots of facilities. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, no lift. "Our stay in this hotel was superb! Our host Allan is a wonderful, helpful and informative host at hand to answer any questions regarding the island and surrounding areas. Breakfast is prompt, plentiful and delicious with a good menu to choose from. The rooms are all well appointed, superbly clean and comfortable. We will stay at this Guest House again!"

"This property is well placed and easy to find. The accommodation is good - although some more attention to detail eg the condition and quantity of cutlery (fine if you are a group of 2 but bring friends in or have more in your party then there is a problem) There was only 1 tall class which we shared. A second oven proof/microwave dish would be useful too. Nevertheless we had a good stay."
