The only thing that caught me off guard was they tried to charge a 5 dollar parking fee I am fine with this if I’m in a busy downtown area, but it’s ridiculous on the outskirts of Columbia, There is a Walmart less than a mile away. South Carolina When I pressed the issue the hotel staff dropped the charge, but it still just seems like a money grab "

"Questionable cleanliness in elevators and several guests had issues with room keys when multiple keys issued to a single room. 1 key would work and other wouldn't. Took until 3rd day before both keys worked correctly.Other than that most was good. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Staff, manager/owner was amazing. Air conditioning was not working and he came from home at 9:30pm to change out the entire air conditioner to a new one. Took a total of 10 minutes. Never seen anything like it. Otherwise, you can tell it has been a refurbished hotel, not perfect, but exceptional service. "
