"This is a really unique and quirky property! We really enjoyed our room. We booked the top attic room with 5 twin beds and our kids/teens loved it! Really unique space with interesting history. I won't recommend it to people with mobility issues, as the stairs are steep and the ceiling has low beams. But for us it was a really fun experience. Other rooms may not be this way. Self check-in was easy! You just push open the old wooden door to enter the hotel. Once in the entryway, there is a ATM...

"This is a nice clean hotel. The owner and his wife are amazing. They are hardworking. Rooms are basic ( 2 star ) but very clean and have AC. Breakfast is included and has multiple choices for everyone. We enjoyed our time there and the town and neighborhood are safe and very clean. We would stay there again ! "

We had booked a private family room for three and when we went in, the Comfort Apartment had one double bed, three sets of bunks and a single bed in one room and a separate room with a further set of bunks. Now the cost per night had seemed very expensive for what was quite a basic hostel however if you had filled the room with family and friends it would have been a real bargain. "Nice property but too far out from st Gallen. Location was on a main road and noisy. I had contacted the property owner many times with no response at all. There were no wifi instructions and we were unable to contact anyone to help with this. Overpriced for one night with a check out at 10am. "
