"This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....

"The inside was very clean, all the amenities you would need. Fresh towels, soap, shampoo, etc. We walked into town multiple times, easy distance to grocery shopping, restuarants, coffee shop!Communication with host was spot on....quick & responsive.*Parking on hill, fyi.downward, so be aware. "

"Was a great location near family. Felt safe with the gated community. Was very clean and very nice location with great views. Enjoyed watching the Quail walk the fences and run around the culdesac. House was perfect for our stay"

"The location is beautiful, no street lights so you can see the stars. A lot of rooms nice for a large party. The tv was broken, wifi lagged. We noticed the neighbors are weird, we would go for a walk and it seemed a truck would be out front and be there for a while, it happened more than once. Lovely house, I’d recommend but it’s not worth the price in my opinion.. also the community is mostly retired people, so the food that is near isn’t that great, Walmart is 20 minutes out from the house...

"Everything was very nice and super easy. The house was clean and the beds were extrememly comfortable. If i had to make 1 suggestion would be, we wished the pool and hot tub could be heated at the same time but i undertamd why that isnt possible. We are hoping to come back again "

"We appreciate the effort, but the inside is lacking, the yard is beautiful, though we didn’t use it on this trip. It was appreciated to provide coffee and filters. However, our stay was less comfortable than expected due to several issues. The home is very minimally furnished and equipped. The kitchen had no appliances beyond a coffee maker, and the provided trash can was very small—about the size of one you’d expect in a bathroom—making it impractical for a kitchen. The bathroom and kitchen...

"Nice apartment. Bottom floor so typical noise from apartment above. Water was only warm , never got hot. Other then that it was perfect for our needs."
