"We had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Astrid. We stayed in a double superior room and we liked the added room for two people. Easy walking distance to at least 10 high quality restaurants. Owner is always there and very involved with making sure we were taken care of. It was a wonderful experience both at hotel and the beautiful city of Caen."

"This hotel is nice. Nice location which just take 5mins walk to the car park. Located in the city centre where you can walk everywhere within 15- 20mins. The most important thing is the staff/owner ‘s family are superb nice. Highly recommended ❤️"

"A gem of a hotel, clean, comfortable, warm, good breakfast and dinner, easy for parking, right in the town centre, 3 minutes walk from the beach. "Stayed here for 4 nights as a base in the middle of the landing beaches. Hotel is only a few meters walk from Sword beach. Hotel is a little run down. Parking is limted to 5 spaces and always seem to have staff cars in it. Parking mext door was chargeable 7am to 7pm but parking on local streets nearby is free if you can get a space. Hotel was having scaffolding erected when i arrived so if i paid for a room with a sea view i would have been angry. Room itself was pokey and a little mould in...

"Very basic hotel in a quaint little French town. Great location for excursions into Carentan, Utah Beach, etc. Worth the very reasonable cost. Village shopping area just a few steps away for necessities. "
