Beds and pillows comfortable, nice and warm in the rooms and hotel itself Rooms could do with a freshen up with paint and small maintenance to windows and walls. Remote control filthy, batteries flat. Tea and coffee facility which is good. Shower pressure average but overall good value, fairly clean, good breakfast variety Would definitely come back "

"The hotel has lots of character and is small enough to have that personal touch. Rooms are spacious with cosy beds and a spa bath. Bar is a nice place to unwind with a drink. Spa and treatments were very reasonably priced. Breakfast was a slight disappointment due to dirty plates and cutlery. Overall it was a great value for money experience and we will certainly be returning. "

"Basic but spotlessly clean. Good for a short stay where all I needed was bed and breakfast. My only complaint was that I was not warned that parking was restricted (on Saturdays as well as weekdays) and I got a ticket. Not really their fault, but maybe something to note."

The rooms are very compact, yet are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a pleasant place to be, however, there is no space for a chair or desk. I booked a room with a window, yet, my room had only a window with obscured glass so I might as well had reserved a room...
