"Check in and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Towels has some minor stains but we're fine. The room temperature controls were awful. Heat set to 61 and it was way to hot but cool set to 80 was way too cold. The hotel was a little maze like but that made it fun and interesting. The pool area was very open, a little dark but fine for the kids to play. Overall a great hotel for a hockey tournament and would recommend. "

"The frontdesk personnel were a bit preoccupied. We felt like some personal issue happened before we arrived. The room and bath are small but comfortable. I was surprised that there were no usb plugs in the room. We decided to go to the Heidout at the end of the street for dinner and back to the hotel bar for a nightcap. The drinks were good and reasonable but again, just didn’t feel welcomed. "

"The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay. The location was nice. The cabin was secluded in the woods and was close to town. We even went ice fishing right off the property. It was easy to get ahold of the owner and the owner made sure we enjoyed our stay. As well, the check-in was easy. The only downside of the cabin was that there was items in the fridge, drawers, and around the cabin that made it seem like someone was living there. This gave us less room for our things. "Absolutely wonderful location, plenty of sleeping room and a really great place to come back to and relax after a day of snowmobiling. About a 1/4 mile from the bear trap/black oak inn, so dinner options were close to home.Very nice and tidy place, extra showers/bathrooms a big plus. Many amenities on site, including plenty of games if you’re bringing kids. Looking forward to bringing the family back up here in the summer for an atv trip!!"

"I found booking this rental easy and reasonably priced. I was worried that the pictures were too perfect and pristine. Upon arrival, myself, two daughters and military (on leave) son all agreed. It is a 'WOW' property. Nestled in a forest of pines and down a dead end road with only two other properties it had solitude to calm the stress out of anyone. The nights were 100% quiet. It was extremely clean and well cared for, we walked into the sweetest card and welcome gift, and the home was fully stocked with the things we needed for kitchen ware, bedding, extra toiletries, and even laundry supplies.
