"The owner (lady) is friendly and pleasant. The room was more than adequate but did not have a television and the WiFi was okay. The only complaint I have is the 75 meter walk up a hill to access the property. But is convenient to public transportation and restaurants and bars. For the value for my money it was well worth it."

"Very difficult to find. Could use an actual name tag or house number rather than having to find 11 and 9 and infer 7 from that. Once I had settled in and left to explore, I found another guest outside who asked me to help her find this place. She was close to tears. So it's not just me, it has a 100% failure rate of people finding it. The room I stayed in was a shrine to Oskar Jeljenic who I gather is a Judo person. "This was a really nice place to stay in Split and not be alone. Shared a room with 3 people. Easy to secure stuff. Clean bathroom. Close to old town, palace, riva, port. Very walkable. Taxi drop off and pick up is a couple blocks away. There are some stairs to some rooms. Coffee and breakfast was convenient. Very nice, helpful staff. Would stay again. "

"It is a good hostel, with good structure and very clean. I got a wardrobe with key, which was very helpful. Staff wasn’t the nicest with me (however at night, there was a really nice guy who gave me good recommendations on the city). It is a 20-30 min walk to the center or to the beaches, like Copacabana. Maybe not the best place to meet people, but really nice structure, so I felt comfortable there. "

"Guest House Cesic was clean, quiet and had a terrific view. Do not have your driver drop you off at stairs. Have him go to the street above the stairs. Much easier. Deka the house manager was terrific. She accommodated all of us with a smile. It was walking distance to bus stop to old town. So overall we had a great time here. "
