"First time staying at this hotel, but I have been coming to the East Boothbay region for 20 years. Stayed in the pier building and it was well worth it just for the view alone. I just happened to pick the weekend the rements of past hurricanes from the south worked its way up so it was extremely windy making the balcony good for 5 minutes at a time lol The bed I could have just stayed in all day and been happy as a clam, my first night I slept 12hrs which was much needed. "Convenient off Rt. 1. Stayed here before heading to ferry terminal in Rockland for early start to Vinalhaven. Walkable distance over the river back to Wiscasett for dinner. Walls and floors seem "thin" or not heavily insulated - lots of noise from upstairs and next door at various points in the evening."
