"We rented 3 rooms for our group, i guess they are in the process of modernizing. The mattresses in 2 of the rooms were newer, 1 was oh heck no! Big refrigerator. Tiny little TV’s maybe 32in? Pool outside was nasty but had water in it. We booked for the price and proximity to the event we were attending. Toilet vent fan did not work ! That was the worst with 4 people in a room!! Staff were friendly and no issues. If you are on a budget or need a long term place to stay it will work. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was not a fan of the shower door that seemed to be installed at an angle as it kept sliding partly open. Also the bathroom ceiling paint was delaminating. The wifi service was very spotty. Had to use the hotspot from my phone to work. The AC unit couldn't be turned off fully. You could only disengage the AC but the fan constantly blows which was also annoying. There are nicer hotels for similar pricing."

"Lone Star Inn is an ideal place to stay for quick overnight trips and the desire not to pay an exorbitant price for lodging. The Inn is very clean and comfortable and Continental Breakfast is offered starting at 6AM. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Wise County again. "
