"I arrived at 7.30 pm after a long drive from the South of France to find the hotel locked up with nobody there at all. The bar and restaurant were both closed as well. There was a handwritten note on the door giving a telephone number. I phoned and was told that there was a side door and I was given a digicode to gain entry and a room number for me. "Charming historic Coaching Hotel in the old part of St Omer near the centre and the Cathedral. Excellent hosts with good breakfast and an excellent restaurant. Off street parking and late night entrance available. The rooms were very clean with comfy beds, bathroom adequate with decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The Hotel has great character but is in need of TLC plus no lift, lots of stairs. We had a great stay at a very reasonable price."
