"I don’t expect much from beachfront motels but this certainly exceeded expectations. It’s older like most beachfront motels but clean, spacious and comfortable with all rooms facing the water. I nice large slider opens on the balcony. Very convenient to downtown and UNCW it’s beside my favorite restaurant in Wilmington - Oceanic, and across the street from Sundays coffee shop a cute, albeit always busy 2nd floor coffee shop above the surf shop. "

"The hotel is very nice close to almost every store you can think of. Breakfast was ok not many options at all. The property was on the fairly new side with clean rooms although rooms were a bit small but overall staff was very friendly and nice. Only other thing is the pool was closed which was very disappointing. I would book again but when pool is open. Overall the experience was good stayed 3 nights. "

"We stay at this hotel every 3-4 months when we visit family. Always have a quiet and easy stay. Morning breakfast is simple with many offerings. The hotel is clean. We use the fitness center, it meets our needs during a short stay. Staff is very friendly. Area is very walkable for meals and shopping. "
