"This hotel is about average for Santarem, but is great for the cost. Room is very small and compact, with inadequate closet for hanging clothes or to use for computer use. Free breakfast is the best we found, and their coffee is something to write home about if nothing else. I found the Hotel Staff as warm and friendly if approached, otherwise, the lack interest in their hotel guests. If looking for very inexpensive lodging, close to the river, you can't go wrong here.
