"The hotel was opposite Lens train station so ideal for the RWC trip we had. The hotel didnt open after lunch until 2pm... on the details it said 1.30pm & on the door of the hotel 1pm. "Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. Stay away! Nice area, but not...

"Second time I've stayed here. Convenient for the golf course and supermarket and a pleasant walk into a lovely town. Along with some places in Normandy, Bethune is the friendliest place that my Friends and I have found in France. Very good breakfast and nice Lady on reception - plus Thomas the cat.
