Not the best hotel has seen better days."

"I arrived at 7.30 pm after a long drive from the South of France to find the hotel locked up with nobody there at all. The bar and restaurant were both closed as well. There was a handwritten note on the door giving a telephone number. I phoned and was told that there was a side door and I was given a digicode to gain entry and a room number for me. "This hotel was a lovely surprise. Set in its own grounds and set in a nice village, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hotel is a pleasant mix of old and modern. The bedroom was larger than the normal chaîne hotels, and the restaurant was large and well furnished. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back again."
