Upon check in the receptionist charged my card again, even though I pre-paid through hotels.com I had booked an all female dorm but was placed in a mixed dorm. "Cons: The building has no elevator. Stairs only. The rooftop was closed. Noisy neighborhood. Slightly uncomfortable beds. Pro: walkable neighborhood. Closr to all historic attraction. Great breakfast (big portions). Friendly and accomodating staff. Hotel is clean. Nice shopping district around it and they can help arrange your tours to other places within Jordan. "

"There are some really bad reviews of this property - and it's easy to see why. So, so many things required maintenance or fixing that are just left as they are. In our room alone there was a broken shower head, broken shower support thing, broken lock, and a couple other smaller things. But the positives outweigh the negatives. Great breakfast, great location, and super friendly service all made up for the few inconveniences in the room. Plus the view was spectacular!"

"The bedsheets and covers were dirty and had hair on them. They did not change the sheets and covers. I felt itchy skin when I woke up. In addition, the door to the room was broken from the lock and the door could not be locked. It looks like it was broken by a theft. The place is not safe and not comfortable. I strongly advise you to look for another place."

"It was cold and we my toddler got sick. The power is very weak as ACs can not heat up the rooms. No warm water at all had to take shower in cold water in this winter as we stayed for 4 nights. There is one extension used for all our chargers and TV and water cooler. "
