"Communication was good on the whole, albeit until check out, when the abruptness of reception person surfaced, he could not be bothered to allow us to leave luggage as he was about commence a break. Despite being 1153 am. How long does it take to open luggage store room opposite? Result 5 hours of suitcase lugging. Studio room was ok for 1..but couples might need bigger room."

"That was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. On the contrary, it was so smelly to the point that we have a sore throat the next morning."

"It is a 2 star budget hotel and you can certainly tell that by the facilities. However, it was adequate for an overnight stay. Room was clean if a little small and basic. Not many staff but they were courteous. Basic breakfast provided but again was to be expected. Overall, okay for an overnight stay. "

"It's not best location for Lille but staff, price, cleanliness make up for it. 15 mins into town centre €35 in zn Uber. The receptionist couldn't be more helpful, she was amazing. Thank you for making it a great vacation. "

Check-in was efficient and quick, staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke fantastic English (thankyou). on site underground parking was a reasonable cost per night. 1st floor street facing room - size and content as expected. Hotel and room was clean and use of a room door access code as opposed to a key/card was a nice feature. Lack of Aircon would be an issue in the summer.street / traffic noisy with window open. Great location. Room cost reasonable for the short notice booking"

"The rooms don't look like those in the pics online. They're small and cheaply furnished. We heard people above our room arguing loudly in the night. But the water gets hot, it's cheap, and very close to nice restaurants and bars."

"Travelling from UK to Italy and stopped here for the night. We arrived at 11pm and needed a code to access the secure parking and hotel itself. Go to your expedia itinerary for this, not your email. Easy to access the car park and room once you have it. No staff were present. Our family room was clean and comfortable and just what we needed for one night before hitting the road again. Shower was great too. Didn't try the breakfast but looked like the typical continental style. Aldi and a bakery...

"Stayed here over the Lille brocant weekend..The prpoerty is of basic standard but forfills those needs. The bed was comfortable, room clean and shower good. The staff, particularly the lady on reception went above and beyond and, is a credit to the hotel. All things aside, for this weekend the hotel is not close for walking to restaurants or bars. It is also a 7km drive to central Lille. Bus 15 and metro will take you there. I would return but not brocante weekend, "

"As ever with B&B, staff were great and breakfast excellent. This hotel's a bit tired though, and the shower in my room was blocked so flooded. The area around is a bit rough - but it's near a train station in a large town, so not unexpected, and not at all unsafe. It's just there are nicer areas. It worked for what I needed though, and you get what you pay for!"

"We had a lovely stay here. When we arrived we were told we could keep our 2 motorcycles in the hotel garage. The people on reception couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and always had a smile. There is a lovely walled garden at the rear where we ate breakfast. The location of the hotel is great too. There is a Greek restaurant 2 minutes away and many other restaurants within a very short walk. Id definitely recommend this hotel which is full of character "

"A nice little hotel placed on the main road into Halluin. With this there’s a little road noise but nothing serious (it’s a small town). I do wonder, in warmer weather, if the window was open, it would certainly be louder. Polish up on your French. I got through with hand gestures and basic French, but the owners, certainly the man, only speaks French. Room is comfortable, not large, but doable. Shower/bath size was at the minimum size for me but, again satisfactory. Good parking out the back....

"Spent two nights here while attending the passchendaele 100 memorial events and I was pleasantly surprised how large and comfortable the room was, especially the bathroom which was huge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality coffee hot croissant's and fruit bread. We booked an evening meal on the second night and it really was fantastic, the locally produced steak was cooked to perfection and cray fish starters were delicious. This is a family run hotel and it's abundantly clear ...

"Its a boutique horel so some rooms like single are smallish. But others are larger. Hotel judy opene24 June 2024. But all is new and comfortable. Super close transport, train bus, easy walk to shops and restaurants. This is a real gem. Great staff."
