"I stay at this Red Roof Inn most every time I stop in Abingdon. There are usually little things that aren't the best, but it's a budget hotel. This room (228) has a problem with the heating/A/C system: the fan won't stay off. The switch is bad. You can ease the knob into a position that turns off the fan, but then it moves and comes back on. I don't want the fan blowing all the time. They also should put a set-screw on the showed handle. It comes off in your hand if you pull on it at all."

"Hosts responded almost immediately to all my questions. Pictures do not do justice for this view from this place. Property sits directly across from Tumbling creek with a majestic view of the river and mountains, which you can enjoy from the warmth of the kitchen table or enjoy the mountain air from the beautiful deck. As soon as you walk in the door you get a welcoming mountain vibe. We decided not to bring our furry family members on this trip, but the home was well equipped to accommodate...

"The service was good. My sales partner has cerval palsy and walks with braces so they gave us a first floor room but it was smoking and we didn’t feel comfortable. The woman at the front desk was nice tho. And we were desperate, plus it was inexpensive…but that’s about the only way I’d recommend this place. "
