"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. "The room was a very small box room in the attic. Had an en-suite. Air con worked when it wanted. Could not open window as it opened over the bed. Breakfast was 8.50€ per person. You were given a small basket with one croissant each,one pain du chocolate each and some very hard bread. Plus the other continental breakfast fare. Did not feel it was worth it. Been in other budget hotels and they were mych better"

"A lovely small hotel with bar only 10 mins walk from the centre .Although no food allowed in the room. There is a pleasant covered area at the back of the hotel where we picnicked both days. The rooms are practical and clean."
