"We received very warm welcome and wonderful service from front desk, restaurant and room service. Had two dinners in the restaurant with 10% discount as hotel guest. It’s wonderful. "This was a really nice place to stay in Split and not be alone. Shared a room with 3 people. Easy to secure stuff. Clean bathroom. Close to old town, palace, riva, port. Very walkable. Taxi drop off and pick up is a couple blocks away. There are some stairs to some rooms. Coffee and breakfast was convenient. Very nice, helpful staff. Would stay again. "

"The room was adequate for a one night stay, however not as close to town as expected and up a lot of stairs unless you know an alternate route. Taxis not so easy to get. I would suggest anybody walking to look up the route for cars so you don’t have stairs, with suitcases. Very helpful with suggestions of better walking routes and places to eat and happy to store our bags for the day. A electric jug is provided in the room but no tea or coffee, which is unusual and rather pointless. Comfortable...

"I’d never stayed alone at a hostel before and was very nervous. I was shocked to find a welcoming environment, a clean, quiet, and air conditioned common space, and a sparkling clean and cheerful women’s dorm with a secure locking closet and a few respectful and quiet occupants. "Great location roughly 5 minute walk to the green market with plenty of surrounding food options. The bus station is approx 10mins walk. The amenities were sufficient for our five night stay with an addition of a balcony. Neven was a lovely and responsive host making our stay very pleasant. I'd definitly stay here again if I return to Split."

Rogač, Šolta island, Croatia 🇭🇷 If you’re staying in Split, I would recommend taking a ferry to Rogač (it costs about $4 and the ride is around 50 minutes). This small town is not touristy, and right next to the port is this beach called Luka. The sea here is absolutely breathtaking and there aren’t many people at the beach except for a few locals.
