"I was in Knighton for a wedding and had a great stay at The Red Lion. The owners were very welcoming and nice to chat to, the room was simple but nice and clean, the hotel is in a great location and breakfast was great. I wish I had stayed longer after seeing how lovely the surrounding area is!"

"23A High Street is a timber framed mid terrace cottage with ancient beams exposed inside. It is highly decorated with knickknacks with a hare theme.Knighton is a small very hilly quiet town. I had no difficulty finding free street parking, but spaces are limited. Tom loves to meet new guests, and he allows them free use of his well equipped kitchen. I will go again if there is another log show at Builth Wells (40 minutes drive) "

"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. "Absolutely amazing place. Very clean, tidy and the yurt had lots of room with a log fire. Kitchen has all kitchen utensils, crockery etc you need. There's no fridge but there is a cool box. They have a little cooking stove and oven, sink and kettle. Shower with hot water, a compost toilet and a fire pit/BBQ.
