"My room was clean with fresh sheets and duvet on a comfortable bed. I loved the walk-in ceramic shower. The curtains show a little wear but that did not bother me. The location cannot be surpassed as you can walk to many restsurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again. There are some renovations going on, but again, that did not bother me. "This was a lovely hotel right in the middle of town. There’s no front desk so you’ll get your room number and codes for the front door and your room before you arrive, which is fine with us. The building is beautiful and the lobby is really inviting. Our room was spacious and really nicely furnished, and super clean. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Hudson. "

"Alander is a great place to stay. Room is spacious clean. Bed is comfortable and nice. Decor is over the top. Bathroom is neat and clean. Most of all the staff is accommodating, accessible and responsive to our request even it was late. Love the idea of promoting local products. Love the coffee! The restaurant North Star is superb food was great. Hopefully we can go back in spring. Despite the snowstorm we still enjoyed our stay. "
