"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"

The owner is very welcoming and will tell you everything you need to know about the products he serves for breakfast and about the region. 10 minutes away from Macon Downtown. 10 minutes away from the Maconnais grand cru. "Used as a stop over on our way back to the UK from South France. Family room with a double in one room and 2 twins in the other. Hard to come across for €150. Very clean and comfortable beds. The missus snored all knight though! "

"The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in...
