"I am travelling on my own on a self supported velo tour and I loved this hotel and had pre booked and stayed for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming, the room was great with a fantastic shower and there was a secure velo/bike garage with water available for washing the velo/bike."

The bath had neither a plug or a shower curtain, the only option was to knell and use the hand shower. We were disappointed to be told that the restaurant was closed Sunday evening and all day Monday, none of the other local restaurants were open."

"We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! "It didn't have air conditioning as listed, which would have nice as it was very hot when we were there. Very nice hotel though and ideally located for all the local amenities. Would stay there again"
