"Our stay at Viva rooms was good. The location between the train station and the tourist areas was great. The host was excellent at responding to messages and met us at the hotel. She was really nice and even recommended a book store for us to find a special book. The room was in ok condition, but the shower needed some work (some mold growing on the floor tiles around the drain). The bed was large, but a bit too hard for my taste. "Nice friendly hostel that is clean and secure. Can walk to city centre in 30 mins or get the bus in 10 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helped with all my questions. Good value. Highly recommended"

"Location was perfect, just outside the downtown with tons of food options nearby. The staff was great at giving recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. If you’re on the taller side you may have to mind your head in a few spots of the room, but to be expected when in an attic. Staff gave great instructions on streets where we could find parking and there is an app you can use top up payments. Would stay again when visiting Ljubljana. "

"Great hostel, the beds were spaced wide apart and the bunks very high, so had a feeling of space and privacy. The rooms were stylish and the shared facilities on the whole kept very clean. My only negative was that the air con unit in the dorm I stayed in was VERY loud, it felt like being the bowels of an ocean liner sailing third class by the engines. I got some earplugs which muffled the sound out, so wasn’t too bad the last two nights. "

"Beautiful View close to the Plivitce Lakes about 3 km to an entrance. The facility we stay is brand new and beautiful. Very, very clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable overall and they accommodate three sleeping arrangements. Helpful personnel and I love is that they offer dinner so you don’t have to worry where to go as the hotel is surrounded by nature. Nice stay!! "

"The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them."
