"Made our reservation from the car after a very long airplane ride and to long of a drive ahead. Place was comfortable, staff was friendly. Unfortunately they have those stupid small pillows that are uncomfortable. But we got a good nights rest and their black out curtains worked great. Missed the free breakfast which looked like it included your normal fare of waffles, oatmeal, etc. We were able to enjoy coffee in the am down in the lobby which for a hotel was very good. "This is an excellent place to stay. It is not fancy but it is clean, comfortable, quiet, and easy. It is a BARGAIN! We like to leave San Diego in the afternoon when we are heading north and get through LA then stop for the evening. This place is perfect for that. Get a good night sleep then off back to I 5 north. It also is a really nice small town with restaurants and a market. For once we didn’t feel ripped off by an overnight stay!"

"Some pretty black and gray cats live in the area. They will not approach you if you don't call them over. Also, they do not fight with each other or make any noise. Some people feed them and pet them. I was one of those fortunate folks. That was the best part of it for me!"
