"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. The location is great, the auberge is in a village which feels very secluded because of the surrounding forest but is in reality perfectly placed as a staging post to or from southern France. On both the outward and home legs of our drive we were warmly received, rapidly booked in and quickly settled into our comfortable rooms. "We were made to feel very welcome by the hotelier and staff even though we had to make a last minute change to our booking. The room and en suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Dinner was delicious. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the centre of town. Breakfast choices were limited and lacked cereals for instance. This comfortable hotel would benefit from some redecorating, particularly the entrance and stairs, but this is easily offset by the warm welcome offered."
