"This hotel is a wonderful retreat. It’s very relaxing with beautiful scenery. Close enough to go explore or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. The pools are beautiful, the gardens are wonderful. The landscaping is fabulous. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. It was amazing. But nothing compares to the breakfast each morning. I’ve never seen anything like it. The food was absolutely scrumptious. This is a wonderful hotel that I would definitely stay in again."

"This is a very nice hotel with lots of character right in the fortified town. However, if you have any mobility problems the hotel’s location and rooms may be a challenge. Lots of uneven walking and stairs and our room had some steep stairs in it and was a little difficult to get around in. Parking is on the road and you’ll have to walk about 300 metres to get to the hotel inside the old town."

"Service from Katerina at the buffet breakfast restaurant was exceptional. She brought us tea in a tea cup each morning. She was pleasant and accommodating. Food was good. The only thing I would suggest is having a pot of coffee in the lobby for early risers."

"What a nice stay! Owner is friendly and very kind, we stayed on the first floor apartment, with two bedrooms and a living area with fully equipped kitchen. Walking distance from the shops and restaurants, 10 minutes drive to Simos and Kato Nisi beaches. Lovely place, highly recommended"

"Beautiful hotel!! Stunning views, a great pool, basketball court, and large rooms. We were greeted by the owner on arrival who was welcoming and her staff were lovely. Parking is available and only a 4 minute drive into town. "

"Liked the beachfront location. The room was average size, great bed, balconies overlooking the beach, good size. I was not impressed with the breakfast. "

"Small room but great location if you’re just staying for one night to see the island. Room gets a little noisy in the evening as there is a pub downstairs. Other than that it’s a value for money place to stay. "

The best way to describe the room is - fancy wine cellar. We had access to an upper level courtyard which was very pretty with potted plants and seating, however no sea views from our room or courtyard. "The welcome was delightful.Dimitris the owner was most helpful before our stay & answered all our questions. Room was cleaned daily, towels changed every other day same with bed linen. Breakfast buffet had variety& food was always fresh. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. This was our 2nd stay of 2 weeks & we hope to return. View from breakfast terrace of Monemvasia was superb & amazing to enjoy it in perfect weather."
